Impact investments are made with the intention to generate positive, measurable social and environmental impact alongside a financial return (The Global Impact Investment Network). As with any investment, neither positive impact nor financial returns are guaranteed.
The SDGs
For us, it all starts with the Sustainable Development Goals, which represent the most pressing global challenges identified by the United Nations in various focus areas.
Our issuers must address at least one of the SDGs, and contribute to a more sustainable future and reduced inequalities worldwide.

Sustainable and Responsible Investing
Impact investors evaluate both the potential financial return and positive social or environmental outcome of their investment. Rather than pure performance, they look for a Double or Triple Bottom Line illustrated by the phrase “People, Planet, Profit”. Please note that, as with any investment, neither positive impact nor profit are guaranteed.
A 2020 GIIN survey of impact investors reveals characteristics of this growing sector.
Due Diligence
Various impact measurement metrics and systems have emerged in the last decade.
Globally our process is inspired by the IFC operating principles and tools: we first evaluate the market potential and the team’s ability to execute, then we consider the anticipated impact based on the main dimensions highlighted by the Impact Management Project.
